Information Collection and Use
- No User Login Required: Watsy does not require users to log in, and therefore does not collect personal identification information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- Image and Quote Generation: We use OpenAI's DALL-E 2 to generate images and GPT-3.5 Turbo to generate quotes based on user descriptions. These images and quotes can be downloaded by users and shared on their preferred social media platforms. Watsy does not directly post these images or quotes to any social media.
- Pre-made Templates and Quotes: Watsy offers a range of pre-made templates and quotes that users can utilize for sharing their sentiments. They can be paired, mixed, and matched as per user preference.
- Ads via Third Party DSPs: We display ads in our app using AppLovin MAX, InMobi & ironSource. These ad networks may collect certain information for the purpose of displaying targeted advertisements. - Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to track user actions within the app. This helps us monitor and improve the app's performance. Firebase Analytics collects data in a way that does not personally identify individual users. For more details, you can check Firebase's Use of Data.
Data Storage
Local Storage: All image and quote generation, as well as the addition of text and stickers to templates, occur within the Watsy app. The final outputs created by users are not stored on any of our servers or databases. They are only stored on the user's device if the user chooses to download them. All other necessary caching and storage related to the app functionalities are performed locally on the user's device.
User's Rights
Since Watsy does not collect personal identification information and all data are stored locally on the user's device, users have full control over their data. They can choose to delete any generated images, quotes, or templates from their device at any time.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page with its new effective date.
